Many thanks to all the people who participated in the First Call for Exhibition Projects at IMG. We hope to create something common really soon with whom we won’t be able to establish links for this curatorial stage in Internet Moon Gallery. Also, thanks to the people who have been part of the course of the selection, supporting the call and advising the creative process of the selected proposals.

Mars is still a bit far, but we are in contact.

Open Call for submissions

Introduction

Internet Moon Gallery, from its eagerness to research in the experiences and the cultural phenomena of this century, wants to arrange its space for the diffusion and creation of projects in its digital environment through the First Call for Exhibition Projects at IMG.

The purpose of the call is to grant the digital space of IMG during one of the periods of the lunar cycle to the selected projects.

Projects that address the reflection of the internet and digital will be valued as means from which to launch discourses, as well as the specificity and the intrinsic relationship that artistic production can find in these media.

Description of the open call

IMG is organized as a self-managed and non-profit space. The proposals to be submitted must be in accordance with these requirements.

There is no possibility, on the part of the gallery, of financial help for the realization of the projects. Therefore, this call may be used in conjunction with other grants or scholarships that assist you in the resolution of the submitted project.

The nature of this call is aimed at digital production, created specifically in a 360º visualization space. You can apply individually or as a group. Commitment is to be made within the deadlines and technical requirements agreed with the management team from the gallery.

Evalutation criteria

-Hybridisation of formats and methods: preference will be given to those projects that combine themes, genres, formats and/or forms of cultural management. Similarly, importance will also be placed on the willingness to incorporate methods taken from other spheres and disciplines.

-Social impact of the project: preference will be given to projects aimed at finding effective ways to involve society and produce a positive assessable impact; which takes into account accessibility, non-discrimination and equality.
